Traditional dishes

All dishes from Manilla are based on Filipino cuisine.

Bringhe:
Bringhe is a local rice dish with some similarities to paella but using glutinous rice, coconut milk, and turmeric. Kiampong a type of fried rice topped with pork pieces, chives and peanuts. It can be found in Chinese restaurants in Binondo and Manila.


Lumpia:The fresh version of lumpia is a bit like a spring roll crossed with a burrito. It’s large and wide filled with meat, lettuce, carrots, peanuts, and coconut. It is usually topped off with a sweet sauce. 

Beef Mechado:Beef Mechado Is prepared by taking a decent cut of beef, stuffing it with pork fat and then slow cooking it in a tomato sauce along with potatoes and carrot
